A certification of authenticity and valuation from an independent company is available for £40. Please order the 'Valuation Certificate' in the 'Extras' section under the 'Shop' tab. This can be provided to your insurance company to insure your ring.
We offer a resizing service for £50. Most rings can be resized up or down to most sizes but if you’re unsure please send us an email to hello@vintagepink.com or message us on Instagram. Please order the 'Resizing’ option in the 'Extras' section under the 'Shop' tab.
You have 14 days to decide if you love your ring and return if it isn’t the one for you. Please see further details in the 'Refunds & Exchanges' page in our footer menu.
For Shipping outside of the U.K., please note that the customer is responsible for any import taxes or charges.

This certificate includes an assessment of stone carat, clarity and colour.
Add this to the basket at the same time as purchasing a ring if you would like a valuation of your ring from an independent company to provide to your insurance company. If you’ve already received your ring and didn’t order the valuation, please email us and we might be able to arrange one for you. We might need the ring sent back to us for this.
This can be provided to your insurance company to insure your ring. We strongly recommend that you do this. If the ring was to get knocked or damaged and a stone get lost, something possible with all rings, whether new or vintage, you will be able to claim to repair and replace your ring.
- The valuation will arrive separately to the ring.
- The valuation takes 1 - 3 weeks to arrive.
- On some occasions it may take up to 2 weeks for the ring to arrive, if ordering a certificate, because the ring will need to be taken in for independent valuation before being posted to the customer.
- The valuation is an A4 piece of paper with your name and address printed on it. This will be the name and shopping address of the person who orders the ring. If you’d like an alternative name and address please email us at the time of placing the order.
- Because it is personalised, the valuation is non-refundable.

- The valuation will list the carat of the gold and authenticate the stones (diamond, sapphire etc). It does not detail the clarity, colour or carat weight of the stones.
Vintage Pink offers a resizing service at a cost price. Our jewellers are extremely skilled at sizing vintage jewellery.

Option 1
Order ‘resizing’ at the same time as ordering your ring. The ring will be resized before being shipped to you. The ring will be non-refundable in this instance. You will only pay for one set of postage costs.
Option 2
Order your ring and ‘resizing’ separately. Receive your ring first and if it needs resizing then do a separate order for ‘resizing’. The ring will be sent to you first to check that you love it and would like to keep it. You will then send it back to Vintage Pink for resizing. You will pay two sets of postage costs. Please email us to get the return address and include a note with your ring with your name and the size that you would like.
- Resizing takes up to 3 weeks.
- If it isn’t specified by the customer and an order is made with the resizing option as part of the order and a size requested, Vintage Pink will assume Option 1 and go ahead with resizing to the requested size.
- If you need to check what size you need then best to go into a local jeweller and ask them to measure your finger. Alternatively there are some ring sizers on Amazon. Check your size when you are warm and cold to make sure that it feels comfortable in both.

Ordinarily the pink box shown in the images is the shipping box and has the shipping label stuck to it and may get dirty in transit.
